The Alliance for Community Development has designed this communication portal to increase interaction between program participants and program instructors. The goal of this communication portal is to increase each student's problem solving skills, promote cooperative learning amongst participants, and serve as a clearinghouse for questions regarding ACD learning assignments. This portal also contains a homework forum where participants can get help on current schoolwork from certified teachers.

Welcome to ACD/Academic Enhancement Program

I would like to officially welcome you to the program. I hope your experiences in this program will enrich and help your educational walk. I have created this blog in order for us to communicate outside of the scheduled work sessions.
In order for you to become familiar with the blog, I would like for you to share some information about yourself so we can get to know each other better. Therefore, by April 9, 2010, I would like for you to post a comment of at least 5 sentences about yourself (example: goals, career aspirations, after-high school plans,etc.)
